Bio-Fresh cd is a ready-to-use bacteriostat, fungistat, and deodorizer that utilizes chlorine dioxide technology. It is recommended for controlling bacteria, mold, mildew, fungi, and yeast in indoor air quality (IAQ) applications. This product is EPA registered for use in HVACR ventilating equipment, including coils, condensate pans, filters, and ductwork.
Evaporator coils, condensate drain pans, filters, and ductwork in air conditioning systems can become prime breeding grounds for bacteria and mold. If left untreated, these issues can proliferate and negatively impact indoor air quality, a significant concern of the IAQ movement today. This product should only be applied according to the following instructions by HVACR professionals.
For Residential Control of Odors Related to Bacteria, Mold, Mildew, Animals, Smoke, etc.: Thoroughly spray the source of the odor with Bio-Fresh cd or mist the air by squeezing the trigger several times. Severe odors may necessitate repeated applications.
To Deodorize HVAC System Ductwork: Fog or spray Bio-Fresh cd into the system intake vents while the system fan is running. Ensure sufficient spray time for Bio-Fresh cd to contact the surfaces of the air duct system. Repeat the application as necessary (refer to the Bio-Fresh fogger directions for detailed instructions).
For Microbial Control of Evaporator Coils, Drip Pans, and Associated Air Conditioning Components: Prior to application, manually pre-clean air conditioning system parts using a suitable coil/drip pan cleaner. After cleaning, thoroughly spray Bio-Fresh cd onto the cleaned surfaces without wiping it off. Allow to air dry.
