Wi-Fi module installation for the Eco Series CC32 and CH32 units with a service code or serial number starting with 21.

⚠️ Important: If your service code or serial number starts with 28, you can skip this procedure—your unit is already Wi-Fi ready.

Step 1: Power Off
First, pull the disconnect and make sure the unit has no power.

Step 2: Access the High Wall Head
Open the cover on your high wall head by pushing the side tabs outward, then place the cover on top of the unit.
You’ll need a Phillips screwdriver to remove the electrical cover.

Step 3: Expose the Circuit Board
With power off, carefully pull the circuit board forward just enough to access the ports.
Disconnect the ground wire
Disconnect the brown communication cable
You don’t need to fully remove the board—just pull it out slightly until you can see port CN16 with its four plugs.

Step 4: Install the Wi-Fi Module
Take the adapter included with your module and clip it into CN16. Be gentle to avoid bending the pins.
Once the module is connected:
Push the circuit board back into place
Reconnect the communication cable
Reconnect the ground wire

Step 5: Secure and Organize
Use the fitting screw set—hook it into the notch, then fasten it in place. Tuck the cables neatly inside so they don’t interfere with the cover.
Run the module’s cable through the slot and set it inside the unit, out of the way.

Step 6: Close Everything Up
Reinstall the electrical cover and tighten the screws.
Tidy up any remaining wires, then reinstall the front cover by pulling it to the outside, sliding it back, and snapping it securely into place.
And that’s it—your Eco Series unit with service code 21 is now Wi-Fi ready!
