Fan Motors & Cross Fans: Genuine Replacement Parts for Midea and TCL Systems
A noisy, slow, or dead fan is one of the easiest repairs to get right β if you order the right part.

Mini splits use two very different fan designs. The indoor cross-flow (cross fan) is a long cylindrical fan that pushes conditioned air evenly across the room. The outdoor propeller fan pulls air through the condenser coil to reject heat. They're not interchangeable, and they're driven by different motors with different mounting specs.
Signs a Fan or Motor Needs Replacing
- Rattling, grinding, or clicking noise from the indoor or outdoor unit
- Fan spins slowly, intermittently, or not at all
- Reduced airflow even though the compressor is running
- Motor hums but the fan blade doesn't turn (often a seized bearing)

Fit Check Before You Order
Two motors can share the same wattage and still have different shaft lengths or mounting hole spacing. Always confirm the exact part number stamped on the motor housing rather than matching by specs alone.
